What kind of oil should be used for motor gears?

Motor gears generally only require a special gear oil or a light grease to reduce friction and protect the tooth surfaces.

Specific suggestions:

1. Metal gears: Use ordinary gear oil or lithium-based grease, just enough to cover the tooth tips; do not apply too thickly.
2. Nylon gears: Most have self-lubricating properties and do not require oiling; if concerned about wear, use lithium-based grease or PTFE grease to prevent corrosion.

Note: Avoid using greases with excessively high viscosity, and do not apply too thickly, as this may increase gear resistance or cause overheating.
